Our Presenters

David Kavanagh is the Managing Director of the Avalon team. David holds a degree in Theology and a Diploma in Pastoral Ministry. He is also a registered Family Psychotherapist. David founded the Avalon course as an alternative to Accord for couples who want a different format for marriage training. Avalon fully supports the Catholic Church in it's work to prepare couples for the Sacrament of Marriage and our course has been accepted by the Episcopal Conference for the last three years. To date we have a 99.2% approval rating from couples who have attended our course.

All our presenters are qualified Psychologists or Psychotherapists and as a team we have put together our course to make your pre-marriage training the most effective experience it can be. We want to learn from you as much as you might learn from us and we are eager to hear your views on everything we present.

We are also experienced and qualified in Family Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Sex Therapy and Hypnotherapy.
